Cocktails, Conversations, and Community -Where It All Began: Georgetown's C&O Canal w/ Ralph Buglass

Join us online for this informative presentation with historian Ralph Buglass as he discusses “Where It All Began: Georgetown's C&O Canal, an ambitious project in our nation’s early days. Ralph Buglass, is a Montgomery County native and an avid history buff.  He has taught at lifelong learning institutes associated with Johns Hopkins and American universities and Montgomery College. He speaks frequently to community groups, businesses, and other organizations as well as at national conferences.

In 2020, with Peerless Rockville, he co-authored Images of America: Rockville, a pictorial history of the city’s 250 years. He has a BA in American history from Cornell University and an MA in journalism from American University.
