How to Protect Yourself from Evildoers

Joan Treichel’s new book, Warding Off Evildoers, represents a vivid piece of forensic psychology that explores the creation, intent, and operations of the criminal mind. The book examines forensic experts' observations and analyses of evildoers, and also forensic science findings. It is based on research conducted by several hundred scientists exploring various aspects of evildoing. Their research helps unearth the nature and identity of who evildoers are, how they got that way, and most crucially, how we can protect ourselves from them.

Joan Arehart-Treichel is an award-winning science writer based in Washington, DC. For many years, she was medical editor of Science News Magazine and later senior staff writer for Psychiatric News, published by the American Psychiatric Association for psychiatrists throughout the U.S. She has also written articles about scientific subjects for New York Magazine, The Washington Post, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, and other consumer publications. She has authored five books on scientific subjects, notably Biotypes: The Critical Link Between Your Personality and Your Health, published by Times Books (the New York Times book company), and now Warding Off Evildoers, published by Armin Lear Press, and available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and elsewhere.
