Alzheimer, Dementia and other memory issues

Alzheimer, Dementia, and other cognitive issues cause changes in memory, thinking and behavior that are not normal aging. These issues are not the same, and differences between them are important to recognize and understand.

On Sunday, February 26 Burning Tree Village invites you, your family members, and your friends to attend a zoom educational program presented by the Alzheimer’s Association®. Bob Bell, a community educator with the association’s National Capitol Area Chapter, will present information on:
• The similarities and differences between normal aging, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and other cognitive issues.
• Common warning signs.
• The importance of early detection and benefits of diagnosis.
• Next steps and expectations for diagnostic process.
• Alzheimer’s Association Resources.

Registration is not required.
