About WAVE

WAVE was officially established in 2012 by village pioneers in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. From the beginning, it was clear that villages could achieve growth and success by sharing experiences and finding answers to questions about ways to organize, develop programs, and find resources. WAVE has grown very quickly and now encompasses villages in the further parts of the two original states plus West Virginia. It is now the largest regional village organization in the country.
