Introduction to Village Partnerships for Maryland Counties, AAAs, Towns, and Nonprofits
Tuesday, May 21, 1:00–2:30 p.m. on Zoom
You are cordially invited to join a program designed specifically for Maryland counties, AAAs, towns, and nonprofit organizations serving older adults to describe the many ways that “aging-in-place” Villages can support your mission.
Villages are grassroots, member-driven nonprofit organizations created and shaped by older adults who wish to support one another in aging in place in their communities.
The program is led by the Washington Area Village Exchange (WAVE), through a grant from the Maryland Department on Aging. It will feature examples of mutually beneficial collaborations between villages, Area Agencies on Aging, counties, towns, and nonprofit organizations. The session will also describe resources that are now available for a diverse range of village collaborations.
