About this event
A Presentation & Discussion Led by Roger C. Rothman, LCSW-C
In our younger years, we concentrated on our careers and having the stamina and mental toughness needed to juggle work and homelife successfully. Now that we’re older, regardless of whether we’re still working or retired, shouldn’t we be as focused and consistent on keeping our bodies strong and minds sharp to take advantage of the hard-earned benefits of being a senior citizen?
Roger Rothman, a mental health therapist and North Bethesda neighbor, will summarize the challenges he sees for today’s senior citizen cohort. In addition, he will share some anecdotes from a long career as a private therapist specializing in work with teens and young men and, more recently, senior men.
In addition, Roger will address some of the concerns that participants may want to pose (in advance at the time of registering for the session) for the discussion side of the hour. Please note that the discussion piece is meant to discuss concerns in general not to address individual and private situations/concerns.
Attendance at this free event is by Zoom only. Please register at:
