COVID-19 Discussion: The impact of the pandemic on our social well-being

About this event

Presented by Greater Stonegate Village (GSV)

GSV invites you to attend a Zoom presentation with Marla Lahat from Home Care Partners. Marla will discuss how no one escaped the impact of the last 3 1/2 years of the Covid pandemic, but the physical and emotional toll of Covid had a tremendous and lasting effect on older persons. During this discussion, we'll talk about some of our memories of the Covid years - difficult, funny and good! (yes, there were some good memories). We'll also discuss ways to resume some of our former activities and share our experiences in going out and traveling now that the pandemic is officially over.

About Marla:
Marla Lahat is a GSV Volunteer and has lived in Stonegate for 35 years. She is a licensed clinical social worker and works as the Executive Director of Home Care Partners, a non-profit home care agency that provides home care aide service to low & moderate income older persons and those with disabilities throughout the metropolitan area.

A Zoom link will be sent out via email the day before the event.
