Washington Area Villages Exchange WAVE Members Meeting Monday June 22, 2020, 9:30 - 12:00 Noon Virtual - Via Zoom
Dear WAVE Members and Friends, On Monday, June 22nd WAVE will host the 2nd Quarter membership meeting offering a session based on timely topics including a plenary session with Gail Kohn, Age-Friendly DC Coordinator and Gail Kutner, WAVE Vice President. The topic of Gail Kohn’s presentation is entitled, The Impact of Villages on the Pandemic and What That Might Mean for the Future. Gail Kutner will present the summary of findings from our recent Covid Check-In market research survey. Also, you will be able to participate in one of four breakout sessions:
- Services Members Need Now or Within a Year
- Role of Villages in the Current Crisis and Importance of Villages in Communities
- Potential Changes that may Continue into the Future
- Best Practices
Our conference will take place via Zoom, with a live Zoom link at 9:15am, and the program running from 9:30am-noon. A brief highlight of Zoom features will be presented at 9:30am; however if you are new to Zoom, it is recommended that you log on at 9:15am for individual assistance. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and indicate your 1st and 2nd choice of breakout rooms, you will receive an email with a link to the Zoom meeting. Please don't feel discouraged if you are unable to join Zoom via a computer or tablet; you may still join by dialing in with your phone.
- For those who have previously registered via an RSVP to WAVE, we have your reservation, but we are asking you to reply to Loretta Vitale Saks with your preference for breakout sessions (see below).
